Terms of Use
Effective: April 27, 2026
These terms and conditions apply to the Vyntara app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Lance Goff (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Commercial service.
Upon downloading or utilizing the Application, you are automatically agreeing to the following terms. It is strongly advised that you thoroughly read and understand these terms prior to using the Application.
Intellectual Property
Unauthorized copying, modification of the Application, any part of the Application, or our trademarks is strictly prohibited. Any attempts to extract the source code of the Application, translate the Application into other languages, or create derivative versions are not permitted. All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Application remain the property of the Service Provider.
User-Generated Content and Community Conduct
The Application includes community features through which you may post, share, comment on, or otherwise contribute content. Examples include the Lounge feed, ferry/standby posts, operational alerts, profile photos, usernames, and any text, images, or files you submit ("User Content").
By posting User Content, you represent and warrant that:
- You own or have all necessary rights, licenses, and consents to post that content
- Your content does not violate any third-party rights (including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights)
- Your content complies with these Terms and all applicable laws
The Service Provider takes a zero-tolerance approach to objectionable content and abusive behavior. The following categories of content and conduct are strictly prohibited and will result in content removal and may result in account termination:
- Content that is sexually explicit, pornographic, or sexually exploitative
- Content depicting, encouraging, or glorifying violence, self-harm, suicide, or harm to others
- Hate speech, harassment, threats, or content targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic
- Content that is defamatory, libelous, or knowingly false in a manner that harms others
- Personally identifiable information about another person posted without their consent (doxxing)
- Spam, scams, deceptive content, phishing, or links to malware
- Content depicting illegal activity or that solicits, facilitates, or promotes illegal activity
- Content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property right
- Content sexualizing minors or that endangers minors in any way (zero tolerance — accounts terminated immediately and reported to authorities)
- Impersonation of another person, brand, airline, or entity
- Any content that violates Apple App Store Review Guideline 1.2 or Google Play's User Generated Content policy
Reporting and Moderation
The Application provides in-app tools for community safety:
- Block User: You can block any user from your account so their posts and comments no longer appear in your feeds
- Report Post: You can report any post you believe violates these Terms. Reports go directly to the Service Provider for review.
- Content Filter: A keyword-based filter automatically hides content matching prohibited categories before it reaches you
The Service Provider commits to reviewing every report of objectionable content and acting on it within 24 hours of receipt. Action may include removing the content, warning the user, suspending the account, or permanently terminating the account, in the Service Provider's sole discretion. The Service Provider may remove any User Content at any time, with or without notice, for any reason.
License Grant for User Content
By posting User Content, you grant the Service Provider a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to host, store, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute that content solely as needed to operate, provide, and improve the Application. You retain ownership of your User Content. This license terminates when you delete the content from the Application, except to the extent the content has been shared with others (who may retain it) or where the Service Provider must retain it for legal, audit, or backup purposes.
Account Suspension and Termination
The Service Provider reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account that violates these Terms, posts prohibited content, abuses the reporting system, harasses other users, or uses the Application in a way that harms other users or the integrity of the service. Termination may occur with or without notice, and the Service Provider is not obligated to provide a refund for any subscription period remaining at the time of termination if the termination results from a violation of these Terms.
If your account is terminated, you may not create a new account or attempt to access the Application without explicit written permission from the Service Provider.
Contact for Reports
To report content or conduct outside the in-app tools, contact the Service Provider directly at hello@vyntara.app. Include enough detail (post link, username, date/time) for the Service Provider to investigate. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
Modifications and Charges
The Service Provider is dedicated to ensuring that the Application is as beneficial and efficient as possible. As such, they reserve the right to modify the Application or charge for their services at any time and for any reason. The Service Provider assures you that any charges for the Application or its services will be clearly communicated to you.
Hotel Bookings
Vyntara facilitates hotel reservations through our travel partner LiteAPI (operated by Nuitée). LiteAPI and the booked hotel are the merchant of record for these transactions. By completing a hotel booking through Vyntara, you agree to the following:
- You agree to the terms of LiteAPI and the booking hotel
- Cancellation policies, fees, and refund eligibility are set by the hotel and govern your booking. Many hotel rates are non-refundable.
- Vyntara is not responsible for the quality, accuracy, availability, or your experience at any hotel
- Disputes regarding hotel stays should be addressed with LiteAPI and the hotel directly
- Currency conversion fees, taxes, resort fees, and other hotel charges may apply beyond the displayed price
- The name on the booking must match your government-issued ID at check-in. No-show or name-mismatch fees may apply per the hotel's policy.
- Special requests (early check-in, late check-out, room preferences) are subject to hotel availability and are not guaranteed
You acknowledge that hotel rates, taxes, fees, and availability may change without notice and are confirmed only at the time of booking.
Data and Security
The Application stores and processes personal data that you have provided to the Service Provider in order to provide the Service. It is your responsibility to maintain the security of your phone and access to the Application. The Service Provider strongly advises against jailbreaking or rooting your phone, which involves removing software restrictions and limitations imposed by the official operating system of your device. Such actions could expose your phone to malware, viruses, malicious programs, compromise your phone's security features, and may result in the Application not functioning correctly or at all.
Third-Party Services
The Application utilizes the following third-party services, each with their own Terms and Conditions:
Internet Connectivity
Please be aware that the Service Provider does not assume responsibility for certain aspects. Some functions of the Application require an active internet connection, which can be Wi-Fi or provided by your mobile network provider. The Service Provider cannot be held responsible if the Application does not function at full capacity due to lack of access to Wi-Fi or if you have exhausted your data allowance.
If you are using the Application outside of a Wi-Fi area, please be aware that your mobile network provider's agreement terms still apply. Consequently, you may incur charges from your mobile provider for data usage during the connection to the Application, or other third-party charges. By using the Application, you accept responsibility for any such charges, including roaming data charges if you use the Application outside of your home territory (i.e., region or country) without disabling data roaming. If you are not the bill payer for the device on which you are using the Application, the Service Provider assumes that you have obtained permission from the bill payer.
Limitation of Liability
In terms of the Service Provider's responsibility for your use of the Application, it is important to note that while they strive to ensure that it is updated and accurate at all times, they do rely on third parties to provide information to them so that they can make it available to you. The Service Provider accepts no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, that you experience as a result of relying entirely on this functionality of the Application.
Similarly, the Service Provider cannot always assume responsibility for your usage of the Application. For instance, it is your responsibility to ensure that your device remains charged. If your device runs out of battery and you are unable to access the Service, the Service Provider cannot be held responsible.
Use of Artificial Intelligence
The Application incorporates Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to provide certain features or services. By using the Application, you acknowledge and agree that AI may be used to process data and deliver functionalities. The Service Provider ensures that all AI usage complies with applicable laws and is designed to benefit the user experience.
Updates and Termination
The Service Provider may wish to update the Application at some point. The Application is currently available as per the requirements for the operating system (and for any additional systems they decide to extend the availability of the Application to) may change, and you will need to download the updates if you want to continue using the Application. The Service Provider does not guarantee that it will always update the Application so that it is relevant to you and/or compatible with the particular operating system version installed on your device. However, you agree to always accept updates to the Application when offered to you.
The Service Provider may also wish to cease providing the Application and may terminate its use at any time without providing termination notice to you. Unless they inform you otherwise, upon any termination, (a) the rights and licenses granted to you in these terms will end; (b) you must cease using the Application, and (if necessary) delete it from your device.
Changes to These Terms
The Service Provider may periodically update their Terms and Conditions. Therefore, you are advised to review this page regularly for any changes. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page.
